Powerplay Sell mined resources not giving merits

Dears,

As described in local activities I went there to core mine.
I did spend 4 hours to find out that the mining in this system is not giving merits.

Could it be because it was control score = 0?
I sold 2 stack of stuff and probably control score gained 2 points.

but no merits.
quite frustrating.

I did spend 4 hours to find out that the mining in this system is not giving merits.

Mining has a bunch of location requirements which, unfortunately, aren't documented in the in-game manual.

When Mining for Fortification or Undermining purposes, the commodities must be sold in the same system that they're mined in.

When Mining for Acquisition purposes (as in your screenshot), the commodities must be mined in the nearby Fortified (20LY) or Stronghold (30LY) system which is supporting the Acquisition.

For HR 4776 that means you need to do the mining itself in Kaluhet.
