Sell painite where?

So if i have 192 painite. Inara says station buy it for 770000 say. I get slammed with some tax or whatever it is, and i only get 360000 each... So how i know where i can sell the amount? Is there some form of calculator for that? I mean, station has demand for 3000+ so demand is not "low"

I just dont get it.. Someone pls explain how this work? Never did this kind of mining so...

Check demand
And sell only at stations that have demand 10 times bigger than what's in your hold. In your case, more than 2000t demand

And painite is not really worth it, go for LTD:

• deep core in simple hotspots,
• deep core / subsurface in simple and double hotspots
• subsurface and laser mining in triple hotspots

The advertised prices, in game, are not reliable - at least I don't understand them - which is why these tools are useful
Choose a place not too far away for your first trip - the big profits come from distance and timing
Mining's a fun mini-game, and it's good to get it right ... but it will take practice to make mega-bucks (if that's what you want to do).

Ye i tried LTD, though it was a single hotspot. But it NEVER had any cores or subsurface.. And took AGES to get togheter and even find a rock to get 1 or 2t

Mega bucks i think all would want, but myself i just want to get togheter some easy money so i can for example outfitt a Corvette fully etc... Doing missions, seems like i lose more then gaining on that. And bounty hunting. Is a joke. 40k 60k 100k... To get 1m in bounty takes like 1 hour in a high rez zone..

If you want to affort something, mining is a "must" and mining platinum and all that other crap, will just spend my hours for measly 6m profit

You need to equip a pulse wave scanner, A rated preferably - B is ok-ish too
Any pulse will reveal some yellow asteroids. The really brightest will be crackable - they will have deep core deposits, the rest will have surface or subsurface deposits.
The crackable ones are quite rare - usually there are 30-50 km between them.
The rest are quite common. And you will be interested in those common that have LTD as subsurface deposits - you need to perform a minigame

I'm pretty sure you will find some movies on YT with both deep core and subsurface minigames.
Currently, LTD subsurface mining is really - and i mean really profitable

That is not an authorised trading commodity Citizen, only Low Temperature Diamonds and Tritium are approved since 10th June. Please dump the Panite and get with the program.
