What do I mean?

For example, let me buy a "lakon paint pack" for example, and get some paints that can be put on all my lakon ships.

Why?

Well I've decided not to buy paint packs for certain ships, knowing I won't be flying them forever anyways, but in the case of a blanket pack, covering more than one ship, I'd have happily bought such packs.

Simple economics sadly.
5 manufacturers x £5 = £25.
30 ships x £5 = £150.

It's exactly the same reason you can't get single colour packs, even though you totally should be able to.

So the packs for each manufacturer would have to cost £35, then the people would argue that Saud Kruger get the shaft.
