Newcomer / Intro Sell sidewinder or Eagle?

Hi commanders 1st of all im loving this game ,the sounds and graphics are amazing and to me ED just "feels" right,but my question is ..I have the sidewinder and Free Eagle which im now piloting,
should i sell one of my ships for a bit of credit and if so what kind of hardware should i purchase.Thank you Commanders

Up to you. If you want combat, keep your Eagle. I don't think you get that much for a default Sidewinder, though, as most of it is on loan from the Pilot's Guild.

The base sidewinder does not give any credits for selling it.

Personally, I shot a few NPCs at the local nav beacon to get some cash for trading, started trading in the sidewinder and then switched to the eagle. However, most people will tell you to sell the eagle and upgrade the sidey, which certainly is sound advice - I just don't like the sidewinder all that much.

If you decide to keep and upgrade the eagle, upgrade the power plant as a priority - it is notoriously weak in the stock setup - then it depends on what you want to do with it - I wanted to get somewhere else, so second on my list was a better frameshift drive.

Thanks for the advice ,i didnt realise i couldnt sell the sidey i think im going to slowly upgrade my Eagle and Thanks Captain Kirk il start with the power plant..Thank you all
