Ships Sell Up for an Anaconda?

I'm at the point in my Elite career that I can sell up a few of my old ships and purchase an Anaconda. But should I?

I would be selling an exploration Asp, A-rated Cobra, A-rated python, and most of the gear from my A-rated Clipper (Not selling the Clipper based on getting it as a Serf). The Anaconda would be used to explore and trade.

Am following this post as well but selling up is a bit different than just buying a one for one swap.
What's your opinion?

You can make a lot of money very quickly in an Anaconda by trading, with 400 tons of cargo space I got from 15% tycoon to Elite in 11 days while trading in Open. Now I'm at the point where I buy and upgrade whatever without needing to follow a budget.

However the Conda is VERY risky in the beginning so unless you're a very confident pilot I suggest earning a bit more so you can get some proper upgrades and have enough for rebuy and commodities.
