Selling a ship with a full Cargo

Just a quick question.

If I buy a new ship, but my current ship has cargo on board, what happens to that cargo if I sell my current ship or keep it and store it. Does the cargo get sold with ship or transfer to new ship or stay with existing ship in storage?

You cannot sell or store a ship with cargo in the hold. It'll go off.

Sell your cargo.

Also, downgrade your ship internals before sale. Otherwise you pay the 10% sale commission on everything.
