Selling data. Need advice.

Right. I'm wondering what's the best way to deal with data these days. Last time I sold big amounts of data was a few years ago, I'm not sure what's the good way to best spend it these days.
Should I swing by Explorer's Anchorage while I'm still in the core to sell it there, for safety? And then head back exploring again, or go back to bubble. Or keep it, bring into bubble and then...what? If there's nothing useful beyond credits to be had from it I see no point hauling it around. I have all the permits I need. Is there anything I'm missing?

Well... explo data is quite useful for BGS shennigans, especially for boosting expansion IIRC. Just be sure to sell to the right faction, and not sell everything because there's a cap per tick (6 or 10 millions). I don't see any other use apart for buying some permits but as you already have all you need... that's a useless advice :D

I suppose you could also level a superpower reputation up, but that decays to 75% over time anyways.
But yeah, if you have all the permits you need, it's only useful for BGS - if you have any minor factions you care about.

So, I've stopped at an Anchorage to sell the data tonight. I took pretty much direct route from the bubble to Saggitarius under a galactic plane, with some detours. Only jumping to O,B,A,F,G,carbon stars, neutron stars, black holes,WR types. Fetched 360m credits. Wow, they've really bumped exploration rewards. I knew they did, but not by a factor of 5 or something of the sort. Can't complain though.
Answering my own question - from what I've seen black holes and neutron stars can get you around 300k give or take, not sure what it depends on. So, it's not so bad considering there's little else useful in 90% of those systems. So you will be jumping through them very quickly.

Nice to see that you arrived safely ;)

K, F, G and A with terraformable, WW, AW and ELW can easily reach millions each. They are worth to jump in also, if there's no black hole or neutron in the area.
