Hey all, I just got back from my first mini expedition to Barnard's Loop, so I only had about 10 pages of data to sell. But selling each one for a longer run sounds very time consuming, from what I've read on the forums!
I also read that the servers can't cope with mass transactions, hence the limit.
But I thougth of a fairly simple approach to selling your data!
A 'Sell All' button, but it doesn't try to do it instantly, instead it begins uploading it in small batches to the stations server(EDs server), with a 'stop' button, and a % bar showing its progress, plus a counter showing how many records have been uploaded out of how many you had in total.
Stopping mid way doesn't lose any progress, it will finish of the batch, then end. You can restart, or leave the station, or whatever, when you sell again, it will just begin uploading the remainder.
You get paid for every completed batch.
Ideally it should run in the background while on the BBS, so you can check missions and galnet, etc.
It's easy on the servers, and easy on you, even if it takes the same amount of time, atleast you can read galnet or something!
