Selling from a Fleet Carrier

I just tried to test out selling from my Fleet Carrier by having my alt account buy some cobalt. The alt account managed to pay for the items and receive them from the FC, so he's very happy. My Fleet Carrier doesn't appear to show any profit though.

Am I looking in the right place? No change appears either in my personal account balance or in the Carrier balance. Maybe this is an FDev thing to stop credit transfer?

The sell order all seems to be set perfectly well.

Sorry, I'm sure you Cmdrs that have had trade Carriers for a while may have heard this all before but I can't find anything about it and so I'm left trying to work out what I have done wrong.

that is really weird.

i sell a bunch of stuff from my carrier, and while there is weirdness around the stats, i never encountered the credits not going into my FCs bank account.

did you do a restart from desktop or have you been running both account simultaniously?

I did it last night running accounts simultaneously on two different computers and saw no difference. Then I logged on this morning to see if it was a delay for some reason but still nothing seems to have registered.

If it’s a banned practice I can see the logic but would imagine it simply wouldn’t allow the transaction.

The credits left the buying Cmdrs account which made me wonder if I’m looking in the wrong place.

Yes, as the alt is buying from the Carrier (not the Carrier's owning CMDR), it goes to the Carrier's balance.

If that's not happening, something is wrong. A bug perhaps? I've transferred billions between accounts by buying/selling the same batch of LTD's that I originally mined in Borann. The only nerf I'm aware of is that the profits no longer give Trade rank (one of my alts made Trade Elite doing this, the other did not, post-nerf).

afaik that only updates on thursdays, like others said, compare your carrier balance before and after selling stuff

Well this is embarrassing. My poor little mind obviously can’t deal with adding small numbers to large numbers😊

It‘s working as intended, it’s just me that isn’t working as intended.

Tried it with a larger transaction and looked in the correct place. Keep an eye out for my Carrier, you may end up getting very good deal....I’m clearly an idiot.
