Selling of rare stuff

I've just purchased some rare whisky (if I remember right) in the market, came up as a different colour, when to sell for the best price - is it just go approx 40LY away from where I purchased it ?

I purchased some rares from Lave today, and took them ~150ly away (to Malloc). I sold them for roughly a 5.6 markup from the buy price (24500 -> 137500).

I thnk you need to go further, I bought some Eranin whiskey and took it to sol ( 40Ly trip) and it was selling for 243cr/t more than what I paid for it.

The further away you travel the higher the price. 40ly is nothing and you'll only get a small profit compared with travelling 200ly. I was getting 17k a tonne lastnight on a 180ly run.
