selling ships/equpiment -- full purchase price?

I'm working through the ranks so I can buy a clipper (or should I get an anaconda? decisions decisions)...
For now I'm going to get my rank using an asp. When the time comes and I have the rank to get a clipper and I sell my asp/components, I get full purchase price, correct?

You might not be able to sell some of them, but down grade (i.e. A to D) the one's you can not sell outright.
