Selling Stored Modules

I just started playing Horizons again after a 3 yr hiatus. Lots of changes. I'm currently at Jameson Memorial and I have 2 ships and lots of stored modules. I'm in the ship outfitting section and I can't find the option for selling stored modules. Is it no longer possible to sell stored modules/? If it is allowed can somebody guide me through the procedure or menu option? Thanks

Welcome back!

The most important change maybe: there are two game versions now, legacy and live.
Legacy is the old galaxy, ED:Horizons, game version 3.8 - this one get's no further updates and no further narrative so far.
Live is the game client 4.0 and get updated and so on. Also the latest DLC Odyssey (on foot content) you can find only there.
You should have a different commander profile in each, what you do on your live commander don't influence the one in legacy and of course what you do in legacy has no effect in live.

I assume you are playing Horizons 4.0 now...
In stored modules you now have no longer a complete list of all modules, they are structured like in the ship outfitting:

You can select the desired section and click a single module - there you can sell that one:

The new view is better overall imo, when you are used to, but i still miss a complete list of all modules for better overview... :)

Appendix: while concentrating on stored modules, i forgot you can also sell stored modules from outfitting!
Just choose replace on the outfitting module - you get an overview of stored (even on other locations - shaded) and purchasable modules. By clicking a module you get the possible options, also for other locations like that:

Hi All :)
Just for interest, I've got some engineered modules (Class 5 Frameshift drives) if I sell them back will I get the basic price of a Class 5, or would the price be more because they have been engineered?
If I'm only getting the basic module price for a Class 5 can I perhaps sell them at a higher price to other players, using my Carrier shipyard / module functions?
I'm out exploring at the moment so I can't check this out.

You cant sell engineered modules to other players, the shipyard sells packaged 'off the shelf' items.
Best bet is just to squirrel it away on the carrier and use for a future project.

If you sell them you'll just get the credits back that you paid for them. The mats you put into any engineering get flushed down the toilet.

Although you should still be able to buy back the module for a short time if you accidentally sell it, don't quote me on that though since it's been a while since I sold anything. I'm not selling anything I put mats into as who knows what might appear in the game in future that will get me back to ship building.

I'd definitely suggest keeping class 5 drives there's plenty of builds that could be done with ships that would use them.

Yeah, that thought did cross my mind. If we get any new ships those drives could be useful. 😉

Thank you so much. Not sure why I didn't see this at first glance, but things are always more obvious once somebody shows you. Thanks again for taking time to help.
