Sensor scale axis

One of the lesser mentioned updates in 1.1 was to add a "sensor scale axis" control option. I've managed to map it to my X52 Pro's throttle thumb slider, but it's heavily skewed off-centre. The default orientation for it is slider back == indicator to the right, but pushing it only about a fifth of the way forward centres the indicator. Anyone else found similar or know of a way to recalibrate it?

I noticed it as well and have got mapped to one of my X55 rotary dials. I changed the Sensor Scale to Linear in the right hand functions menu. Don't know if that helps because I haven't tried it with the default exponential setting.

I see the same behavior with the grey dial on the Warthog's Throttle. Its almost like its a forward only axis (like the throttle is set to by default). Sadly they didn't include a "Full Range" toggle for the sensor scale. I hope that they add that at some point though.

Yeah, I don't exactly know exactly what linear versus logarithmic is supposed to do, but it doesn't seem to alter this setting. I tried it with one of the dials (which has a detent at 50% and it was way off there too. Oh well, probably wasn't going to use it much, but saw it in the patch notes and figured I'd give it a crack.

I have had my X52's throttle thumb slider mapped to the sensor scale for a while, but as you say, the thing just doesn't work well.

I can sometimes nudge it a little, and then it changes the range, but other times the slider reaches the end before the sensor scale does.

It seems like it still only has a finite amount of steps (about 5 i think), but apart from that it works well.

Have this on one of my X55 Throttle Rotaries - as Ravenov said, finite number of steps, but works great. I have not noticed any offset skew in the range.
