Sensors down, how to request landing?

Hi guys, first time here and with an issue (or situation) currently happening with me ... just had a confrontation with an anaconda who took my sensors down before I escape, how the hell can I request docking in any station to fix my ship? Do I have to self destroy?

You cannot dock once your sensors are out, your only option now is to self destruct. I have done this deliberately to a couple of so and so's, and it seems to be catching on as a torturous way to deal with other players, yours were not take out by another player by any chance?

You're too late, this has been going on in pvp since gamma although it is only now catching on.

Nothing to do with griefing. Taking out sensors reduces the effectiveness of gimballed or turret mounted weapons.

The point you hope to make, becomes the cause of the very thing you complain about! Not that targeting sensors is griefing anyway!

He knows, he is saying that now the griefers will target is specifically since its a prime way to hit n run and leave a player totally powerless to play, forcing self destruct. See real griefers dont blow you up. Real griefers force you to blow yourself up. This is much more satisfying food to a troll than the simple snack of a "kill".

I'd imagine losing sensors would also make it harder to find a target...making it easier to flank or blind side them. Unless knocking out sensors doesn't knock out the radar thingy?

Not a bug, it's intended, but there should be some sort of way of docking (even if you have to just put it on a pad and pay a fine).

Yeah this should be looked at and resolved so that you can at least dock somewhere. Or have the sensors self repair to like 2% out of combat to give you basic functionality.

It would be good to see some thing implemented to work around this if you make it away and get to a station, a rescue fee or something after flashing your lights with sos.

Yes but nobody use that since it can't repair thrusters.

Thought about it and actually tried to flash my flight lights, rotate my ship, communicate with anyone or even get into the station without permission ... almost got shot hehehe
