Separate Fleet Carriers by game modes

I know the idea of carrier persistance is nice, but I do believe (at least for time being) it would be beneficial if the carrier would stay persistant only in the game mode you last logged in (or give an option to choose where to "park" it) -> preferably with some cooldown period to change.

There are couple of benefits to that:
  • Less stress on gameplay / better performance
  • Less chaos in System Map
  • Opens up potential fun events (and makes it more fair to participants, we could see the revival of player driven CGs)
  • Potential to give open mode play some incentive
The idea mainly came from a plan to host a small scavanger hunt event, where players and pirates would be able to get some fun time, but if everyone just hides in Solo it kind of defeats the purpose.

That's where you were wrong. Noone is "hiding" from your Game Mode, Platform or Timezone. Noone (as in : not a single Player) logs off because you log on.
Simply forget that. Chances are, 99.999% of the Player base doesn't even know you exist.

And Carriers - due to their persistence - ensure they're there for you, no matter from where you log on, which Platform you log onto or which Game Mode you choose.
As others have already noted, it'd be nightmare fuel if Carriers were limited by the Restrictions you mentioned and inexplicably vanished for others.

If you plan an event, simply agree to a Platform + Game Mode + Time to meet and have your fun. Simple as that.
