Yeah. I think what we have is similar to what you see in Interstellar? Dr Mann, Matt Damon's planet, boosters as opposed to full on Rocketeer packs?
That could definitely be good too but I think they are different and I've always quite enjoyed climbing mountains in SRV, partly because it isn't 100% straightforward, which creates the challenge .. and therefore the accomplishment.
So it might be a suit engineering upgrade? Even a different suit possibly but in game I've just tried a slope that I'd say is a good 75 - 80 degrees. It was quite a lot of effort .. but did get up it.
Lots of slippage, running sideways did help, you DO miss your hands though .. so maybe an alternative to boosting in open space could be a 'hand hold here' .. which you could then jump / boost off from??
