Separate Law & Punishment and Karma

Dear FD crew and fellow commanders,

Reading at various recent posts I guess that it would be great that Crime & Punishment be different from the Karma System. This would allow :
– To have some real carreer as a pirate, because if you are a cool pirate (negociating, fun...), people might like you and give you – karma. Yet you'd be wanted, chased by police, etc.
– If you are a ***** sociopath, people don't want to play with you.

Other thoughts :
– Maybe let the player evaluate if they'd like to play with the guy, and give weight to this Kama with system metrics about what the guy did (=if your friends 100LY away did not interact, no weight, if you killed him 3 times in less than an hour, heavy weight)
– Evaluate the Crime & Punishment with the system, but give it weight and/or length in time based on player feedback.
This would enable each system to get real weight with little abuse.
– Let people chose which minimum Karma they want from the people they play with, and earn like 10% more if they don't.
– Maybe also let people chose an Easy/Moderate/Veteran/Legend mode difficulty for PVE but also PVP, showing only appropriate people.

What do you think about these ideas ?
