Imagine this.....
You have the ability to view stationed ships in a schematic type view within a webpage along with all related upgrades you have stored there. You can drag & drop parts onto ships, request parts from other stations you've previously left there. Have schematics of several ships, side by side, swapping and lobbing engineered and non-engineered parts between ships. Even have build-types for certain ships, say an Anaconda with bounty hunting in mind, or an Anaconda for Long range missions/exploration. Just 'drag' your pre-defined Bounty-Anaconda build to the ship and Bingo!
Basically its a graphic version of what we already have in Elite Outfitting and to some extent 'ED : Shipyard' but its available offline too. You can sit there and about all day (at work of course), then 'commit' changes ready for when you fire up your FDL.
Its a great idea to lob at one of the interns at FDev..... just lob me 1 billion in game creds for the idea. You're welcome.
