I would rather get in a car driven by a deranged racoon high on poison frog venom than use the auto-dock computer.
A while ago I used a DC for a laugh on a Jameson Cmk3 build and all it wanted to do was kill me. Can't imagine the atrocities and casualties that would be caused by using one of a Panther Clipper.

Same it was a flippant response to the person overly concerned about the Panther Clipper's size.

Although I have used it from time to time on my Cutter if I'm doing shield-less mining/hauling while sleepy. For me it just works /shrug.

I wouldn't stress too much over it, though. Seriously, I'm sure autodock/launch will be perfectly fine for those that use it. The rest of us have already mastered getting through the mail slot manually, regardless of the size of ship (you just have to remember where your cockpit is vertically on the ship and fly accordingly). As a VR-only player, I think it's way easier than not in VR.

At the CG today the autodock doesn't even got a Cutter through the slot going in.
Too much traffic. The module is useful nonetheless, just to check things while on auto behind the rack. Or post here like I already said
