Bread, milk, beer....voicepacks, c’mon. It even costs 20 pence to spend a penny these days.*

*Other public conveniences are available.

Addendum - Having spent the exorbitant price asked by Celeste’s vocal talent, her agent and those gangsters at HCS I’m very pleased to hear an extra fiver will potentially give me an even richer experience. I was previously only aware of Victor being added.

1 or 2 quid maybe yeh but a FIVER ?! Cmon!

As an alternative: How would you like to buy "Elite lootboxes" for 1-2 quid a piece.. for having "a chance" (undisclosed by Frontier) to draw "Celeste CoVAS" as a jackpot? Will that add to your sense of "pride and accomplishement" when you finally get your voicepack? neglecting the fact that you just opened 173 lootcrates until you were lucky enough? :)

I prefer fixed price and 100% guarantee to get what I want instead of a male-cow-biowaste-lottery system... and since were talking about (audio-)cosmetics, everyone is free to decide whether its worth buying or not. But theres no inbalance in the game involved to those who dont buy.

Can we perhaps get a sticky topic for people to moan about the price of things? :D I mean pretty much everything that ever goes in the shop seems to put somebody's nose out of joint to the point that they can't just look at it, think 'nah that's a bit too much for me to spend on it' and leave it at that, but instead have to make a thread about it.

I'm not going to try to tell anybody they're 'right' or 'wrong' because as with everything in life we're all going to decide for ourselves whether we think something is poor value, or simply too expensive. To take a fairly obvious example though, although I have a 'How much?!?' moment whenever Apple release, well anything basically, I've never felt the need to stand outside their shops haranguing them about their prices; I just don't buy their stuff.

People talk as if FDev have the power here but as consumers we all have the right of absolute veto if we don't think a product is attractively priced and that's also ultimately what prompts change. That's exactly why ship paint packs are three quid now instead of the fiver they were two years ago.

I do think anybody who was seriously expecting a voice pack to cost 'one or two pounds' is off their head though. It's 2018 for God's sake, my daily paper costs 70p!

Tried to rep this but apparently I already repped you for some other insightful comment you may have made! You must be one of those "sensible" people I've heard about! Thought they were just a rumour! :)
