Engineers Seriously, FD- private data beacons giving nothing?!

I've reported bugs, I've submitted a ticket, and I've heard nothing, and still - every private data beacon I scan at a degraded emissions detected USS, Scans and then.... Nothing. Just nothing. Used to give firmware like crazy. Now - nothing. Specialized legacy firmware is a level 1 need, and it seems to be on the level of Painite.

Someone please answer!!!!!

Check your Inventory tab and you may maximum number of scans (200 data scans), the data beacons won't return anything when scanned it if inventory is full. You may need to ditch or use some of the data before being able to acquiring any more.

Holy sh*t, I am the biggest idiot.

thank you so much! Oh the specialized legacy firmware I've left behind....

Same deal for missions, one of my friends was complaining about not being able to turn in some missions. Asked him what his data count was at and he face palmed.(data reward missions obviously)

I was literally looking at a mission in my ship tab when I read her comment. I was trying to figure out what "insufficient data storage" meant. Lol, I swear I'm not an idiot. Total brain dart tho.. Haha

I gotta say these storage limits are kinda silly, for a 21st century gamer who's used to data storage being cheap and expandable. I now feel like we're using single sided, double density 5 1/4 inch floppies again. Been there, done that, I thought we moved on from there.

Nah, man.. We're using 5.25 Bigfoot IDEs. They've come a little ways forward. ;)

Well, i scanned, i got a "scrambled emissions data" entry in my data inventory but the message also said that the beacon should reach the right people implying there would be a reward in this case. Is that a "decorative" message?

P.S.: Cannot "unstuck" the beacon from the destroyed ship's hull... Or, can i?
