General Seriously what is up with the "dialogue"?

The worst thing that ever happened to my relationship with my SLF pilot was when Fdev "fixed" her voice lines. The instant she started speaking I began to HATE her and the reason is simple: it's the exact same reason every single CMDR in this game knows where this line is from: "Don't forget this liner is among the top 1% of liners out there".

Guys... the sheer amount of time the average player will have to be behind the stick in order to get any, not to mention all, of the elite rankings means we are subjected to these absurd little lines of dialogue COUNTLESS times. Seriously: how am I listening to a wedding ceremony in deep space? Why can't I elect NOT to? And why does the exact same wedding with the exact same cold feet jitters happen in EVERY OTHER BLOODY SYSTEM?! Why does my SLF pilot inform me REPEATEDLY that there are contacts in the same bloody conflict zone? (A bloody WAR ZONE?!) Does she think that I am unaware of this fact?

Short version: I am very nearly a triple elite player and I am BEGGING you to give me the option to turn all this drivel off. I don't want to hear my SLF pilot say the same stupid, inane things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until I'm inclined to just leave her at the station cos I can't take it any longer.

Seriously do you not realize just how many times we have to hear these same dozen or so lines of dialogue in even a single play session? Now multiply that by how many times you hear it on the way to elite. I mean I get that you're proud of them but.... my sanity is fraying.

Getting your Elite ranking will take twice as long with a fighter pilot siphoning off experience rank points. don't feel bad I use one too but I probably would have been Elite months ago if I didn't have one. As it stands I'm pushing dangerous and only getting 1% off of each CZ

I'm just a few percentage points from Triple Elite. That's not the point. The point is the ridiculous amount of inane drivel that I've been subjected to along the way and my personal, on my knees plea for some mercy.

My favorite is when I'm in a conflict zone and my fighter pilot says 'no more targets Commander,. Meanwhile, still a conflict zone full of opposition

I ordered my SLF pilot to attack a Coriolis station once, she had no qualms about it and complied at once. We have a very professional relationship.

My pilot really enjoys flying between me and the target and then saying 'stop shooting at me Commander, I don't like being used for target practice'. She does it at least three times per ship that we're fighting. I think she likes me and it's just her excuse to talk to me and be seen

Either that or a result of using gimballed beam lasers. Probably seeking attention though.

Nah. My niece had just finished watching the lion king and grabbed a fist full of my (somewhat grey) beard and said I looked like a big white lion. What can I say? It stuck.

This. This is what usually begins the process of unhinging me. When clearing CZ's or during a long undermining grind this starts to feel like steel nails on a chalkboard. It's enough to get me yelling back at her... you know, like it's gonna help.

Only reason i dont just fire her is she's cute. She doesn't look like shes born with low g frailty and radiation sickness, like most of the fighter pilots

This seems to me to be a good reason to keep multiple crew on the roster - so long as they have different voices, of course.

the SLF pilots keep me from feeling totally alone in my ship, I don't mind their terrible piloting skills. However those wedding barges with a groom mic'd to the ship coms and pirates that all attended the same pirating seminar are the worst.
