Server down???

Fine here. well, as good as it gets at the moment 
Servers are down for me, haven't been able to connect since the patch
To clarify, on the launcher it states 'Server OK'.
Just tried uninstalling, redownloading then restarting. Game took much longer to start, unusually I saw 'logging in' but no joy.

Since lunch, the server connection seems to come and go. I was able to play for a few hours yesterday but now I can get in but then get disconnected. Seems like the servers are still unstable for the load they are getting with the update and new players joining the game.
Nope still not working. Still getting the damn taupe cobra error thingy.
Got up for work this morning, had an hour exploring. Finished work, got home, booted up, connection errors. took me 3 - 4 attempts to log on and start playing. Now every time i jump to another system, blam, connection error. I'm going for the full set snake errors..lol 26 mins to jump 3 systems not good almost 21 hours since the hamster server came back online.
How do you guys retry connecting? I have been keeping the game open and letting it retry itself, do you exit then start again?

Connections are made when you start the game at the "Press button screen on start"and then reconfirmed at the main menu loads in to Galnet..
The instance server is independantly connecting during the loading Screen with the ship rotating..
This ship can give clues to if your connecting to instance or being booted...
If it remains smooth rotating ship your getting booted, if you get a juddering ship it means it connected and transfering data to your client as its loading stops the animation from running smooth...
reboot game from dashboard/launcher app gives new connection and auto dials home looking for updates as well...

OK, tried on a different machine and blocked the odyssey DLC from downloading, got a connection right away.
To test, I'm going to remove the DLC from my main machine and see if that is the cause, if it is, I will file a bug report.

i´ve also tested it with my GeForceNOW, same problem there
OK, my problem was nothing to do with the game. While it has never been a problem before, plainly something changed with the latest patch that introduces an incompatibility with Hamachi virtual networking.
Hamachi on, no connection. Hamachi off, connects fine.
Leaving this post here in case anyone else is now unable to connect and runs some sort of virtual networking/tunnelling or other proxy type service which may be the actual problem.
EDIT: and wouldn't you know, as soon as I connect 'The Servers will be coming down in 1/2 an hour for an update'
