ANNOUNCEMENT Server downtime - bonus credit weekend

Greetings Commanders.

As many of you will know, last night we suffered unexpected server downtime which lasted for a considerable number of hours.

By way of a thank you for your patience and to cover any unexpected small fines due to the time delay, we will be running a 48 hour bonus credit period for all Commanders in the galaxy.

Credits and faction reputation rewards from missions that end during this event will be 20% higher than advertised.

Bounty Vouchers and Combat Bonds created during this event will be 20% higher than advertised.

The bonus period will be available from 14:00 GMT (30 minutes time) today until 14:00 GMT Monday 1st Feb.

This will be applied to all platforms (PC, Mac & Xbox One)

Once again thank you so much for your patience while the servers were fixed. We truly appreciate your fantastic ongoing support.

Very nice gesture by Frontier here, not that it will please everyone obviously. To my mind it's a bit much, I can obviously see why you did it and as I said a very nice gesture, just be wary.

Grr us Traders spent considerable time saving/grinding up credits! ...however, this is a great sign of goodwill and in truth nothing really is owed us at all :)

All mission reward credits, bounties and combat bonds will receive a 20% uplift when cashing them in.

Missions will show as the same reward but should add 20% as a bonus when cashing in. Bounties will also say the same amount has been claimed but will then increase in your transactions. As will combat bonds.

This will be applied to all platforms (PC, Mac & Xbox One)

EDIT: Although technically you don't have to give any of us a thing the gesture is appreciated however it does look a bit like a knee jerk reaction that may have been better thought out to include every play-style...

Won't we? You could easily cover 48,000Ly in 48hrs if you wanted to. Anyhow not only do we not matter, you couldn't make a straight conversion anyway as you would 20% on data you've potentially had for months.
