Server Issues

I decided to jump back into Elite Dangerous after one of my all time favourite streamers started streaming Elite Dangerous again. I have been playing since last week, but I have encountered connection issues two times already.

Last Thursday I could not play at all. It was only playable the next day. Yesterday again. I logged in at 22:00 SAST. I was optimistic that it would eventually be playable but at 01:00 I decided to head to bed.

I’m not happy about the downtime experienced so far.

Console players are grabbing the short end of the stick it seems.

Console development was also dropped in 2022 which sucks.

I wonder how many console players are still active in the game and also frustrated like me.

Always on Thursdays there is the Powerplay server tick = servers not reachable during +-1hour.

I play almost daily and most of the time the connection is stable, maybe something with your own connection?

Nah mate, you'll not be able to log in now lol. the servers are fully unconnectable right now. OP is correct, twice in a week there have been confirmed server problems for the legacy galaxy.
