Server slowdowns??

Yep, terrible performance tonight. I'm normally quite forgiving but this was particularly bad. I even had the Holy Trinity a couple of times: Transaction Server, Adjudication Server and Matchmaking Server all timed out in a single session. Anecdotally Solo mode seemed to helped a little, but by the time I switched a lot of people may have given up and freed some of the limited resources so it's hard to be certain.

Definitely the biggest frequency of transition loops and disconnections that I've seen in a long time though. At one point I was stuck in hyperspace for so long I expected to emerge in Andromeda.

Any one else having problems getting to engineer's bases as they are not showing on my hud now they are showing the systems map and you can plot your route but it will no show up on mine now there were two other cmr's seemingly have the same problem but would not reply when I text them..

We bounced one of the problematic servers trying to play funny games with us. We'll be watching the servers throughout the evening.

You may wish to check your watch... Evening ended a few hours ago... :D

Thanks again for the update and prompt response. I have it on good authority that the RSPCA are investigating reports that the server hamsters were "bounced" :)

It's the evening where i am at! ;)

You have never had to sit on Zulu Alert. :(

Look up "Able Archer 84". Four of us were sitting at Bentwaters, with live B-61's. We expected about four minutes warning. The Dash-60's (external power generators) were keeping aircraft systems on, saving about two minutes for the INS, etc. We *might* have just gone through the Mach, outbound, when the inbounds hit. Less than 50/50.

Did I mention it was one way, un-refueled? :(

Nice avatar.

Thanks, yours is about 20% cooler as well
