Server Unavailable.

i was playing until this morning wothout any problem. Wanted to continue and i got this error message from the launcher:

Server Unavailable

Failed to synchronise time with server. etc.
Checked the servers, they all seem to be online.
Time on pc is auto update and accurate.

What is going on?

If Launcher can't be open Server Notification can't be seen & that's reason many ppls report like issue ... for a thing like this it need 1. lancher game to be open 2. game site to have a server status page aka many false report like this it can be avoid, i spend 20 min to find what's issue when all was soo simple ;)
 
I was being somewhat ironic as the time I saw the notification is after the patch went out :) It may have been there beforehand, but I wasn't looking ;)

dear one when i was try to open launcher (for sure i was not single one) it was not open & trow msg it can't syncronize so why do you think i say what i say ?!?!

OK - my apologies - the launcher loaded for me and I could see the support notice. I don't understand how the launcher would have failed to open for others, sorry about that. I'll edit the post.

noo worry my nose smell this launcher issue it is related to fact epic it have special method to authenticate to server so i bet most ppls who have this issue are from epic like me ... anyway if dev it will set on official page a server status page it will be other simple method to avoid situation like this ... :)

The same is happening on STEAM, it doesn't launch the game or anything else for that matter. Before you ask, I'm on PC

Steam library - right-click Elite Dangerous - Properties - Updates tab - select "High Priority ..." - close - exit Steam - restart Steam - Elite Dangerous will now update
 
The support page of Frontier Dev is down as well...... I wonder why ?

I am currently logged-in to the support site. So it is definitely not down at the moment.

I went through the Steam update process earlier (hence had it in recent memory when I posted above) and it went though fine (rather quicker than my store-bought update).

So I don't know what your issue is beyond what I mentioned, however support is now available so you can browse the FAQs but without any error messages I have no idea.
