Hi,

a server update has just been completed with a single change. It includes two balance tweaks, the first is to prevent large economies consuming more of the good that it also produces. This improves the supply of those goods for the player. The second change reduces the impact of demand from the AI trading so that players are more likely to encounter high demand.

I have just noteced very happily that I see high demands in markets! :D :D Yday's and today's server tweaks had some very good effects on the market! Trading is on! :)

Yay! Fingers crossed this starts increasing margins a tad:)
 
Now here's an interesting thought. What if Michael barricaded himself in the office while everyone else was out on vacation and turned a few wrenches... I wonder what Elite: Michael Brookes edition would be like...?

The thought had to have crossed his mind...
 
Good to hear, this sort of adjustment has been sorely needed.

I guess it will again take a day or two for the economy to re-stabilize to the new equilibriums.. (Do we know the actual time needed for widespread economy change propagation?)

It should only take a couple of hours for this one. I'm already seeing the change in the systems I'm visiting.

The glitch with the imperial Clipper not applying a FSD charge disruption wouldn't be a simple server side change by any chance, would it?? :p
