Apparently it is. At least to Frontier it is (Must be their servers are also from 8 years ago). Also wow, only 8 years? Been a good bit over a decade since I have heard that.

I play Elite since the very beginning, but those constant crashes are so frustrating that I'm giving Star Citzen a serious try. And I must say, SC had improved a lot since the last time I have tried it. If frontier keep with this lack of accountability with the game functionality, SC will keep growing until it surpasses Elite for good.
While the game keep crashing, I'm at Stanton having fun!

No, good game packages starting at 35 and the Avenger Titan pack is 65. Cheaper than Elite on the beginning. I'm playing the entire weekend without any crash. Elite crashed 4 times in the last 40 minutes. Bizarre.

A few disconnects wouldn't be so bad but there are potentially game ruining issues in there right now. I'm glad I only paid 7 bucks for Horizons because of the Steam sale.
Even at the beginning of the Elite dangerous with the black screens and instance errors it wasn't so bad as it is now. Today the game was unplayable here in Brazil. Over than 200 commanders at my squadron were reporting similar problems. Frontier used to provide a swift response, but so far nothing was informed. Annoying and frustrating.
