Servers?

Its always the same, around 8.00pm GMT servers go to sleep for the rest of the evening, nothing changes....

Yes... cannot access the mission servers - just timing out. They have been slow all day generally, which seems relatively normal performance, sadly. Did FD ever explain what is causing the issue?

Been like this since 2.1 update.

Nope. It's definitely on their or amazon side. Just tried traceroute, hops out of my country well enough, and then something terrible happens.

omg those people can TRACERT!
don't you knew that, hm, some, hm, servers could not respond to your ICMP packets at all?
try to ping eblan.us, you'll be surprised.

Yeah it was like this yesterday - couldnt get any missions. And now today I have five missions that I travelled over half the bubble to deliver worth over 1m credits and I cant get any of them delivered again due to the communication with the servers. Whats going on Frontier? This isnt good enough for a game that requires an online connection to play it. I have found over the last week that inconsistent servers have made me practically give up playing this game and go back to Project Cars.

Thats it I am out of this game for a few more months till perhaps the new patches drop. Cant be bothered with this rubbish on my evenings off. Disappointed that every time I come to play Elite dangerous it seems that there is something major that prevents me. And even worse my son has just spent £40 of his pocket money on the Xbox version as well - I will be very unhappy if he cant play this game after spending his money on it. I will be putting up some posts on Steam about this as well because people have a right to know if the game they are about to play is unplayable because of the servers.

No, it HAS to be Frontiers fault as the Internet is 100% up, 100% of the time. It's only Frontier that ever has issues dagnabbit.

Servers have been bad for weeks now. I have posted many times.
Have had my internet connection tested, my router is dual band and super excellent, and enabled port forwarding....made zero difference.
Playing the past week has been really very difficult.

Flimley

It appears that the cloud scalability is not automated.
