Set a Home Port

I’ve been operating out of the same star port for two years. It’s my home port and where I keep my fleet.

It would be nice to have an option to set a specific station as ones residence. The only benefit this would bestow is when requesting docking you get a warm and friendly “Welcome Home Commander” rather than the usual neutral “Welcome to our station, enjoy your stay.”

Just a little touch to add to the “immersion. “

That would be nice

"Please fill out the Permanent Residency Request form , CMDR. After a a thorough background check and screening, your Pilot's Federation Residency will be updated to this station/system."

something like that.

During this period you are not eligible to work. If you have ever suffered from any physical or mental health problems, your application will be revoked. Your application may be revoked for any other reason, or no reason, and in fact it's quite likely it will be, unless you're some pretty little thing engaged to a local politician.
