Newcomer / Intro Setting Up Carrier Commodity Trading

I want to set up my carrier so that it buys Tritium from visiting players who want to sell it. However, I don't want to sell it to visitors; just buy it.

I have got as far as the 'Manage Market' screen in the Carrier commodity trading section, but I can only set the selling price. I can't contribute funds to the carrier's trading system, so it says insufficient funds or something.

Thing is, although I have in excess of 3 billion credits in my Carrier's bank (and can add much more if required), I can't find how to add funds to my commodity trading section to buy tritium from visitors.

Anyone know how to do this, please?

Worked it out. It was because my slider for carrier upkeep was set at 100% of carrier balance. So, no money available to buy stuff.

Plus you also have to set the amount you want to buy, and that allocates the funds for you.

Sorted. Leaving the thread here for others' reference.
