Settings question - screen shifts around in tight turns

Sorry to ask a rather daft question - have started on the combat ranks and find it really irritating that the 'screen view' shifts when I turn and sometimes I cannot actually even see the optimum turn indicator - or the complete target summary. How do I turn this 'feature' off - its driving me nuts !

Cheers for the help.

Not sure you can...it's part of the "immersion" to simulate g-forces at work on the pilot during maneuvers.

You don't. It is deliberate, to simulate your movement in the cockpit when hit with G forces. Lots of people have asked for an option to turn it off, and FD have always said no. There would, after all, be no point in having an option, as everyone would switch it off to gain an advantage.

I've got a TIR3, and that's the price of a webcam. OP has to decide if he wants to go through extra trouble to hotfix his issue.

go to the menu > options > graphics > change the field of view, max it out

Hi - many thanks this setting was at ~50% (which I presume is a default as I never ever set) but it seems I also needed to change by monitor settings as well. Appreciate all the help from people, and had a feeling it was probably a daft question ;)
