Settlement Marker at Dav's Hope?

Last night I spent a good while re-finding Dav's Hope in Hyades Sector DR-V C2-23 using map coordinates and my poor sense of direction.

I went back tonight for more chemical manipulators and as I approached the planet I saw that there was a settlement marker there.

Since when did this happen? I had already been to Dav's Hope once before and the fact I spent 20 mins last night trying to find it means that there wasn't a marker there last night.

I am pleased that a marker has appeared for me, but I'm working why it didn't appear for me last night.

Yes it shows after you have already been there, was pleasantly surprised when I returned and could target the place.

Incorrect. I visited the abandoned settlement, then left to a nearby system to refuel the SRV. On my 2nd visit, I had to zero in again manually to (44.818, -31.389) because the marker did not show.

The marker showed for you people because of something you did while you were over there on your prior visit. Something that I did not do.

It may have something to do with scanning the datapoints there or hitting a certain point with the SRV. It's a known thing that certain other things (thargoid bases etc) have a settlement marker once visited for the first time. Give it another go once fully exploring the area, you may find it is in fact correct.

On my 2nd visit to Dav's Hope, I spent another 6 hours farming rare materials. I already datalink scanned all scannable nodes at the abandoned mining settlement. I also drove around outside the settlement for a couple of hours. Just about everything I could interact with, I did.

Yet, on my 3rd visit, Dav's Hope still remains invisible.

If there is a way to make the marker appear, I would be very much interested.
