Several Conservation Board Suggestions to Expand Potential of the Item

Firstly, thank you for making this game and highlighting conservation and education. I really enjoy it and have all the DLCs so far.

It would be great if we could have more types of conservation boards. The one type we have is very modern looking but it also doesn't fit with any particular theme we already have in the game. It would be wonderful to be able to change more than just the leaf colour and metal colour.

Suggestions:
  • Each theme should have it's own "type" of conservation board, just like how each has shop shells but rather than shells actual different boards as a whole item. At least one but preferabely a second which is more subtle/adaptable to other themes. Each mechanic theme should be thought of in this as well ie. modern/classic etc. They should only be the item itself but another nice addition could be a conservation board with new planets/theme items as a blueprint/grouped item as well to inspire those of us who see flat terrain/base items and get overwhelmed with the number of options. It could be a great way to "showcase" or sneak peak some of the smaller decor items before releases as well.
  • Please offer more patterns on the existing conversation board aside from the leaves eg. plain metal/paw prints/question marks/open books/animal shapes/different planets/trees
  • Please add some more posters to display in the conservation boards. The existing ones are great but more in the same style would be lovely whether they be about the same topics or additional/species specific ones. I thought we would get an arctic specific one when we got the DLC for example. They could display extinct species in revelant areas like the Thylacine as a warning to conserve endangered species today.
  • Please make some that are flat so they are easier to make our own customised conservation boards. They are really difficult to hide in other items. An addition of just the board itself could be very useful especially if it could work the same way as the screens and be placed in so many ways. But also stylised ones like suggested in the first bullet point.
  • Another point about boards which could behave like screens would be to have squares/circles/ovals and rectangles both vertical and horizontal and the existing and future posters in each format so they display well.
  • Please could we also have an option to have them illuminated like lights in the game? The current one looks like it is slightly illuminated but it isn't much in the dark. It would be nice to have the option to have this be more obvious as well as the ability to set when it is lit and change the colour.
  • Boards with built in speakers could be interesting as well and offer another change.
  • Please increase the education area. Conservation is a part of the game as is education but the conservation boards don't have an education radius, even a small fixed one would be nice as they contain important information.
I would love to be able to do more with the conservation boards and I hope some of my suggestions are seen and helpful for future items in the game. I'd love to have more conservation boards in my zoos but the current one option everywhere looks unrealistic and a little silly or just doesn't fit the theme or area.

It feels like conservation boards were created and added to the base game and have been forgotten in updates, DLCs and themes since. If there is a checklist of things to make new content for each time a theme or pack comes out please add them. They have so much potential. Please unleash your design team and programmers upon them.

Have a great day and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I'd also like to see a few other topics that, at least for me, would be wonderful to add to the game. Specifically, "what are keystone species?" An explanation of what they are and why they are so important. That they can be large like a lion or orca, or small like and otter or beetle. I can't think of the others I had in mind, but this one excites me so much because I feel like people can understand why certain creatures and plants are so important to the community where it exists.
