I was really excited about this game, and thoroughly enjoying it until the bugs shut me down 
1) I've experienced issues with getting stuck to the ground.
2) I've experienced issues with (for lack of a better term) "falling through the world". The character disappeared from the screen, but I could still move left/right. Eventually, I started falling downwards through a few screens, and "landed" at the bottom. I'm able to move left and right still, but can't see my character, and wind effects (directed at my approximate/guessed location) have no discernible impact.
3) Despite the game requiring you to use "save points" to save your progression, for some reason the game decided to mark my save point exactly where I ended up because of issue #2.
Bottom line - I had to reset the game and restart from saved points *many* times because of the various bugs in the game. Now, after close to 2 hours of gameplay, my save file is useless, and I'm faced with starting completely over.
My question - is there going to be a patch released to address these issues? I have no intention of starting over until these issues are addressed. If there's no patch forthcoming, I'm left with pursuing a refund from Nintendo.
Both myself and my daughter really enjoyed the game, but it's simply too buggy to play in it's current form, so I really do hope the issues are addressed, and quickly.
