How will this work? Essentially, I'll name a task, establish rules (if any), screen the results and then name the winner.
This series is open to any CMDR and FDev Staff member who wishes to participate.
Here's the first challenge: Fastest take off and landing
Outline:
Take off from a landing pad in any orbital (not a station or planetside pad) then land back inside the same orbital in the shortest time possible.
Rules:
1) There must be video posted in this thread showing the full attempt from take-off to landing. No edits, cuts, or video speed changes allowed.
2) Hull must be 100% on landing, but shields can take hits.
3) You may receive a fine / bounty during the attempt, but this is subject to no other challenge rule being broken.
4) FA Off allowed.
5) Docking permission must be received and a landing bay assigned.
6) Open to any ship class with any loadout (Engineer modules allowed, but NO docking computers.)
Contest closes Friday, 2 September 2016 at midnight in the UK.
The winner of the challenge shall receive bragging rights and a $0.25 coupon off Big Bob's Coffee Bar in Lave Station. (OK, so it's mostly about the bragging rights)
