A Great site to mine, no RES, no popluation, just pristine metallic goodies, mined there 3 times, saw 1 NPC adder mining once.

Caveat, it's a white dwarf so throttle down before exiting jump, plus it's very dark which is actually more fun, just remember to look around using the zoom function on your radar and all is good.

My current mining spot is the BHADO system, where Bhado 4 has a pristine metallic inner ring, and two high intensity RESs! And closeby is the high tech system Deive, where you can take some mining missions and use the mined painite, platinum, osmium to get extra profit (got 180K last night for 2 osmium!)
Bhado is also right next to Harma, the most touristic system of the galaxy! You must come to visit us! ;)

Pristine metallic/metal rich ring on a gas giant, 18ls from a station that demands metal.

Also next door to Lembava, which is hi-tech and a faction HQ, and also close to all the major factions.

Uninhabited system in empire space, gas giants have pristine metallic rings.
Probably need to bring scanners first time.
