Share your NPC piracy experiences (victim and assailant!)

I'd like to watch videos or read stories of your experiences with

A) NPC pirates while trading

or

B) NPC traders while pirating.

I'm starting to get into video creation and I'd love to see yours! Please, no PvP videos unless something very special happened.

I was once interdicted by a deadly Python the first time I ever flew the Python myself. I only had one fixed C3 pulse laser, A3 shields and a hold with 62t of palladium. I dropped 20 and got away. it was an exhilarating experience.

After reading how everyone is civil to each other, I tried Open again last night. Got interdicted three times (by Commanders, NPC's don't count) in 5 flights. Each of the interdicts were identical, interdiction mini-game starts, I throttle back to zero to submit, drop back into normal space, interdicting craft immediately opens fire, mini fur ball commences, interdicting craft gets blown up, I pick up a small bounty and continue on my way.

Still can't work out why I get interdicted, I am flying a combat fitted Vulture with NO CARGO - do Pirates even bother to scan for cargo ? lol

I think you have a wording problem. You never encountered any pirates.
