No matter how bad, good or soppy they are!

Mine is...

My girlfriend is at work all day. Yay!
And I work in the evening, I leave before she gets home. Double yay!
And I'll be home when she's in bed. Triple yay!

I hate Valentine's Day. Lol

However! I am making her dinner. Which I do every Wednesday... :D
But this is in a heart shaped dish. :p
So special.

I decided to go "all out" this year, so I spent £12 on one of those photo frames with string in to stick pictures too.
And I'm going to print off a load of photos, mostly of our cat, and some of the most hilariously bad photos I've got, and fill it.

I might even hang it up somewhere!

She'll probably not like it, and is probably expecting something actually romantic...
But we've been together 9 years this year, and well, if she hasn't learned by now.... Lol

I'm also getting her this card...

I'll probably be on the sofa tonight. Which is fine, it's more comfortable than the bed. :D
Then I'm off to work before she gets up tomorrow, so I can effectively avoid the entire day, and most of tomorrow.

We're delaying V-Day by 24hrs so we can go and see an Abba cover band tomorrow night. In the meantime I do have a rather nice card for her!

Going for massage with the wife and then after going to a Georgian restaurant where they do an awesome chicken in stupidly strong garlic sauce. Last time i had it i could taste the garlic for 2 days after!

I need to go get an offering (ie card and such) before I come home. heh.

I think the wife and I will just be hanging out doing our usual evening routine. We already did an early Valentine's Day dinner out last weekend, so that's checked off the list.

With any luck we might have a little fun together tonight.

You know.... ah, playing boardgames... yeah.... *ahem*

Well, her "suprise" is done and nailed to the wall in a place I know she won't want it.
The photos are arranged, sort of. In order of which one I picked up first.
They're also all too big. I'm sure I asked for a smaller size, but oh well. Lol

Dinner is also nearly done. Spicy smokey veggie pasta bake with no cheese for her.
I just tasted it.


And it tastes completely different to how its supposed too. Lol Too late to fix it now!
Hopefully she'll just be grateful I made it. (She won't)

And there we go, Valentine's Day done right. Minimal effort!

It's not the complexity that matters in showing someone you love them - it's the heart. :)

Had a beauty at work today.

There's a bird in the office lets call her "Sarah". She's a 30 something that works away from home during the week and returns to her home at the weekends which is 300 miles away to her bloke...let's call him "Dave"

Well about 2pm the building receptionist knocked on our door leading through this bloke that turns out to be Dave holding a huge teddy bear and massive bouquet of flowers. Dripping wet through since its really bad weather out. Receptionist whos massively excited, introduces him as "Dave" and he's looking for Sarah and that she's got a surprise!

Sadly we have to inform Dave that Sarah is on holiday for the last 2 days and is due back in tomorrow. He knows nothing about this and doesn't let on to us as such...But you could see the cogs working in his head as he tries to figure out why she isn't in as well as struggling with the embarrassment of it all. So yeah I'd expect he is having an interesting conversation with her about now.

So I don't have "just one" girl .. but about 100,000 last I checked.
Costs me a fortune 'in flowers' I can tell you.

Spent the day tidying my room. And I finally worked out that I can slip a fold-away table under my desk... Perfect HOTAS mount for Xbox! Seriously, it's really comfortable.

So basically, I've spent the day making a cockpit. Going to run an ED livestream shortly.
