hi can I fit more than 1 shield cell bank to my ship so if I fit 2 cell banks with 4 ammo on each will it let me use it 8 times

Yes, but you need to switch one module off to avoid firing to cells at one time.
When the ammo is out in one bank, power up the new one, and power down the empty one

Not necessarily in THAT order of course. lol .... you might accidentally loose power to all your other modules.
Power down your SPENT module 1st and then activate the fresh one .... and give it 30sec to fully activate.

Yes you need to be careful, depends on if you have enough power to run 2 SCB's without forcing other modules off line.

It's common for PVP builds to have 3/4 enabled at once to protect against large bursts of focus fire from several commanders. I have my Cutter rigged so that I can either burst 3 at once in an emergency (4 heat sinks to do this) or stagger fire them using different fire groups (you can fire 3 active SCBs by doing this and is uses less heat sinks if you time it right). If doing PvE or fighting another big ship I fire one at a time.. since the damage rate is much less. You can also swap out "off" banks provided you turn off the active ones before turning on the new ones. This is difficult to do in the middle of a wing ganking however since it takes 20 seconds for one to turn on..
