Shield gen integrity, damage bleeding

Not a bad idea. Could be a way to manage to do something against invunerable Federal Corvette / Imperial Cutter.

I think it would be best if shield instead would fade away a little bit then stop to work for a few ms to work like when we have for light when there is the current or a wire is badly connected.

But Module Reinforcement should really prevent modules to malfunction. It should only occurs if Modules Reinforcement are completly broken.
 
+1. Would be a nice middle ground to cascade torps if they did less damage, but reduced the efficacy of SYS pips damage reduction the more damaged the shield gen was.

" invunerable Federal Corvette" Think again, I just had my shields striped in one volley. Not sure what is was, probably mines.

So your shield got disabled by you own missile (destroyed with pack hound) ?

How much shield did you had ?
 
Has been suggested years before. Never been considered even though it's an easy and cool change. I believe it won't happen. Let's be realistic here, barely a hand full of suggestions even get considered if at all.
