Ships Shield tank Imperial Courier. Rate my build.

I decided to rework my combat Courier. From an average build with 600 shields / 700 hull to a shield tank with shield of close to 1400 MJ. There are some issues I'm having a hard time with... Is it worth keeping this heavy duty HRP or trade it for another Guardian booster and get more powerful shield traded for a paper hull? Should I work with 2A or 3A shield? I'm still undecided towards fourth utility slot - slapping another shield booster (res or hd?), a chaff dispenser or a bounty scanner...

Interesting build, but me not clear what ya'r doing with it... PvE me guess.

PvP very situational, shields piercing weapons could take ya out quickly.

Looks OK. Fit 3 turreted Pulses and PD and you will be fine.

Depending on weaponry this build works well in PVE, but yeah I'd like to do some PvP in San Tu or wait for something in the open, but let's be honest - we won't be able to build a perfect ship because small ones have limitations and best way is to squeeze out what a ship has best to offer.

Courier has both speed and shields, but if you focus on the speed your ship is going to be like paper thin. Shield tanking the Courier works much better and you still have an ok speed and hull that wont break from a single hit.

You mentioned shied piercing weapons. There is always something that can surprise you, Pack Hounds for example or a skilled mine . Nevertheless it will take a while to bring these shields to a zero level, in an emergency can always high wake or if things go badly simply cough up that 300k something for a rebuy

Update: Installed the engineered 2b SCB. With such enormous shield a SCB works like homeopathy rather than medicine. Maybe it would be better to slap another Guardian booster...
