Shields won't go down

I've just been bounty hunting in Ngbalia and came across an NPC sidewinder, his shields would not go down despite 2 minutes of constant burst laser fire. I assume its a bug, has anyone else seen this?. Missed out on 5000 Cr because of it.

hmmm is it possible you were too far away during those minutes? lasers become exponentially weaker the further you are from the target, unlike kinetic weapons whose velocity and charge is unaffected by distance, within the weapons range of course..

if this wasn't the case then I haven't come across this I'm afraid.. Good Luck!

Yes i've seen it a couple of times with NPC Condas, no matter what you throw at them the shields won't flicker...

The only instance ive encountered is when the shields go down, but they seem like they are up visually.

Mainly on Pythons and Anacondas. Just keep blasting away.

Same problem, same ship, same system 16% IIRC
