Ship Bodykits soon?

I've just been made aware of this feature that looks like it's coming soon, as evidenced in Engineers trailer and livery tab in outfitting.
Can we get some sort of statement from FDev about which ships are getting body mods and when?
I'm personally interested in FdL and Imperial designs, perhaps the elusive S-K refit for FdL is a bodykit option.

You won't get anything out of the FDEV team but I suspect it a feature that was cut from engineers after the core assets was completed for the trailer, and the UI was already added to internal version of the game, so I suspect it will come in 2.2, 2.3 at the latest.

At least the Sidewinder and Federation Eagle have kits tabs currently. I have not looked at others yet.

The tab isn't there for the FDL or the Viper mk IV. No idea about others.

I would have thought it will only apply to small ships.

Interesting, I know the files were only there for a few ships when I looked in Beta, but I didn't realise the Tab did not show up at all for the ships without the files

I'd like to remove the spoiler on my IEagle actually! And fit the FdL with a frameless S-K Canopy like the orca. A new nose contour for the IClipper that more closely matches canopy line.

I'm not interested in Bodykits/Spoilers.
However I would like a plough mounted on the front of my T9, just to clear a path into a station:
