You devs are very busy chaps, but here's one for the future.....

BODYKITS !

Imagine if you could turn your Cobra from this:

My Cobra needs a massive whale tail spoiler on the back !



ALSO......

The Empire should produce an Imperial competitor to the Cobra......comparable specs and price, but with sleeker lines.

I love the big expensive ships, but I'll never be rich enough to afford them if trading is the only route to real wealth.

I was thinking the same thing. In beta you can get reinforced hull sections, and it would be great to see your ship bulk up from being weedy to total beefcake.

I agree with this as it makes sense. ...but at the same time I cringe at how it could be implemented.
There will be aftermarket companies making parts for ships and one of those parts could be a "hull-kit" for a more unique look.
