Ship Delivery Service

I'd like to be able to request a ship I have stored at a distant station to be delivered to the station I am currently docked at. The way I figure this ought to work is that it would take a bit of time and cost quite a bit of money, and obviously this would scale up with distance. There could even be a risk of the ship being destroyed en route, along with attendant options to replace it on one's insurance.

This could even be a mission for other players (though I'm not sure where that would leave them once they've arrived!)

I hate to be "that guy," but I think it needs to be said: this was in a design dock in 2013.... how come the game came out in 2014, and this is not implemented in v 1.0?

If you read the post, there is a whole bunch of stuff that appears cut to me: "renting" hangar space, etc.

I haven't seen anything post 1.0 release from Frontier indicating that they are going to implement this. A forum post (not exactly what I call a design document) from a person that's over a year old, and which mentions other things not in the game that seem to have no mention of inclusion, is not what I call proof that a feature will exist.

If you think about it, when they implement being able to exit your ship, you should be able to cadge a lift from another player/NPC to where your other ship is stored. That way you can retrieve it yourself, :D
