Ship hud colors

So I know it's been talked about alot before but how come console still doesn't have different hud colors?
Seems like such a basic customization option seeing as we have weapon and engine colors.
I'd pay frontier points to spice up my cockpit as soon as they dropped.

The PC version doesn't have a setting for it either, you have to edit one of the game's files to change it.

I drop out blue to reduce eyestrain by editing the settings in the graphics xml file.

Cosmetics is one thing

Its know console players want it. Frontier didn't said it will never happen. But its very very low on the list.
