General Ship Ideas for King/Admiral (Specialized Medium Ships)

So I have been thinking about what I would like to get for the highest rank on each super power, and I feel just getting ships bigger than Vette/Cutter wouldn't add anything in the game, it will just make some old ships obsolete.

How would you like very specialized ships for highest rank reward? Here are some of my ideas.

Federal Stealth Ship:
  1. Medium sized
  2. Decent speed & maneuverability
  3. Good Jump Range
  4. Decent hardpoints and distributor
  5. Limited internals
  6. Mediocre hull and very poor shield
  7. Best in Game Heat Efficiency

Imperial Whatever Ship:
  1. Medium sized
  2. Poor speed but decent maneuverability
  3. Average Jump Range
  4. Good distributor and internals
  5. Average Hull and Shield
  6. Hardpoints Placed Very Close together for optimal fixed weapon sniping performance
  7. Oversized sensors that has a longer range than all other ships in game

For the second one, sniper ships are bad ideas, since they either are super broken and always stay out of your range with their speed or cannot get to a position where they can snipe other players. With your suggestion, the ship would probably be unable to get to a position where they can unleash their firepower, and even if, they would deal little to no damage due to having to use Long Range or Focused on their weapons. A better idea would be another stealth ship that has very high DPS output and good distributor, but very poor hull and shields with very little internals to buff the weak hull or shields. Or a stealth ship counter with oversized sensors and high maneuverability and speed but mediocre hardpoints and mediocre internals and distributor along with good shields and low hull.

They could just start with reworking the Challenger Hardpoints and Optional Internals and we'll have probably the Python 2.0,a top class Medium.A Medium Clipper/derived too and so on,there are too many useless ships that a simple overhaul will bring them to service.
 
There are already enough medium Fed ships with rubbish shields ... I’d rather a Federal Interceptor with the internals/hardpoints of the FGS and flight model of the FAS. I don’t believe that would be OP just genuinely on par with the FDL and Chieftan.
 
How about getting your own workshop so you can tweak any ship you want, within limits of course.
Perhaps getting one larger core internal while reducing another.
Or rearranging the internal compartments.

We already have that, just grind couple billion more or do something while owning a carrier, should be easy 5 years of upkeep (I have 2 carrier alts with 2 months of passenger runs mostly).

That would be neat, but I don't think it fits as super power rank rewards
 
Honestly I'd have gone the route that maxing out the other progression ranks has and made admiral/king unlock a permit-locked system with an omnishipyard, like Jameson Memorial or Attilus Orbital. Make the fed one offer better-than-jameson discounts on fed ships, armour and HRPs, while the imp one does the same for imp ships, shields, and boosters.

that one's not unlocked by anything, and like you said, more expensive than anywhere else.
Which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't affect rebuys as well.
 
An Imperial Cobra. Essentially a Cobra upsized to medium and dressed up in Imperial fashions, and maybe upsize some of it's hardpoints as well as it's PP, TH, and FSD, and add an extra class 5 and class 6 optional. Fast, maneuverable, with a really good jump range, and just average or a little below average firepower, and shields.
