I recall in FFE that when you went looking to buy a ship (or a ship was engaged in combat) you could see its identifier or registration number e.g. NX-12345 or similar.
Are there any plans to bring this to ED? It made ships just that bit more tangible.
That would be great. I guess the issue this would play into is persistence of NPCs across the game world / galaxy. Would be really good to have something though in this regard.
